Ravioli in Bianco {Ravioli with Garlic Cream Sauce}

If you have 15 minutes then you can make this meal. It’s perfect for a lunch or a light dinner. You will want to make sure you have bread. The sauce beckons for it. It demands it. And you’ll want some mints nearby too. Trust me on that one.

This might come as a shock *wink wink* BUT during the week I don’t have time to make pasta from scratch {that’s reserved for lazy weekends and special events in my case} so I use a good quality refrigerated pasta when I want ravioli or tortellini. By taking that shortcut it let’s me get this on the table in less than 15 minutes. You’ll mix up this simple creamy garlic sauce while the pasta is gently simmering away {remember you don’t want to rapidly boil stuffed pastas they’re more likely to rip and spill out their delicious insides if so}.

Then you’ll carefully transfer the cooked pasta to the sauce pan and gently toss – marrying the pasta to the sauce! Aw, I love a good wedding ; ) And good bread!

    This sauce sounds absolutely scrumptious. I love simple pasta dishes and the garlic would totally shine in this…I’m in!

    Many thanks for this weekday “keeper”. I’m so grateful to Winnie of “Healthy Green Kitchen” for leading me to you and your site!

    You had me at garlic!

    Oh, wow! I cannot wait to try this!

    I love the simplicity of this dish and the fact that you can see the little chunks of garlic. Thanks for the tip on the gentle boil with the ravioli…I might be guilty of some rapid boiling.

    Love how easy this sauce is. Sounds so good.

    This is lovely! Yum!

    Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? You don’t make your own pasta daily? For shame! Well, neither do I, in fact, I never had. This sauce looks fabulous. This looks like a good “hubby’s gone for the night” dinner since he doesn’t like garlic OR cheese very much. Total weirdo.

    This looks wonderful. I love the pungent flavor of garlic. Hm…with creamy white sauce? You’ve got me craving for a plate for these scrumptious ravioli!

    Paula, I’d even eat this dish with your mushroom tart (next post) — YUM. But I enjoy sopping up sauces with bread like you, too. 🙂

    Hey, I just made something eerily similar! You can never go wrong with garlic, cream and parmesan.

    DId you say 15 minutes? I am sold! This looks like the perfect comfort dish for a busy weeknight.
