Ravioli with Creamy Pesto and Tomato Sauce

{Roasted Chicken & Mozzarella Ravioli paired with Creamy Pesto & Tomato Sauce}

Pasta is a weakness of mine. Okay, good food in general is a weakness of mine but especially pasta. I adore making it by hand but sometimes, sadly, I don’t have the time to make it by hand.

On those occasions I like to have a few packages of high quality, pre-made pastas in my freezer. They’re a lifesaver, okay maybe just a dinner saver, but you’ll certainly be glad they’re in there when you’re scrambling to get dinner on the table.

{Creamy Ricotta Florentine Ravioli paired with Pesto Sauce}

Recently, I was able to sample Monterey Gourmet Foods™ pastas .

I sampled Roasted Chicken & Mozzarella Ravioli, Creamy Ricotta Florentine Ravioli and the Butternut Squash Ravioli. Quite a variety of flavors.

I was thrilled to find out Monterey Gourmet Foods Pastas and Sauces are ALL Natural. The company follows 8 strict All Natural Principles so you can be assured you are offering the highest quality food for your family. That is incredibly important to me and, I’m sure, you too!

{Butternut Squash Ravioli paired with Sage Butter Sauce}

Using Monterey Gourmet Foods products you can easily and quickly prepare a meal that the whole family will love.  I made a super simple sauce that paired well with each individual pasta, which I whipped up while the pasta was cooking.

Hello? 10 minute dinner anyone?

Let’s get SAUCY!

  • Pesto Sauce: To drained, cooked pasta add a drizzle of olive oil and a dollop of pesto. Toss to coat.
  • Butter & Sage Sauce: Melt butter, add fresh sage leaves. Pour sauce over cooked, drained pasta.
  • Creamy Pesto & Tomato Sauce: recipe link below

Add a baguette and a salad and you’re all set! Happy family, Happy Mom (& Dad). And that’s a good thing!
