Which Cupcake Liner Should I Use?
Paper, Foil or Silicone. I tend to lean towards the foil simply because with paper liners I always feel that I need to double up them to avoid from having the oil seep through. Use what you like.
How DO I Make A Cupcake Light and Fluffy?
Baking light and fluffy cupcakes is all about creating air bubbles in your batter. If you over-mix your batter, those bubbles will collapse. Creating a not so light and fluffy cupcake. To avoid this, try mixing your batter on low speed, stopping after the ingredients are just blended together.
Tips FOR Baking Cupcakes:
- Don’t overmix the batter.
- Use a large cookie scoop to fill the cupcake liners so that each well has the same amount of batter.
- Preheat your oven.
- Bake cupcakes in the center of your oven.
HOW DO I FILL A CUPCAKE?
Allow cupcakes to cool completely. If cupcakes are warm, the frosting will melt. Place frosting into a piping bag fitted with a pastry tip. Place the pastry tip into the cupcake and gently squeeze. Pipe the filling into the cupcake until you see frosting overflowing from the cupcake. Frost the top of cupcake however you please.
