Flowers make me insanely happy. I don’t know why I don’t buy them (or better yet plant a flower garden) more often. My favorite flower? Tulips. They make me think of spring. Perhaps it’s the cold weather that has me dreaming of those warmer temperatures, cute open toe shoes, flowy tops, picnics and peeps.
You know those iconic marshmallow treats that pop up in Easter baskets around the world. Did you know that Peeps is a fun candy that can be used in creative and new ways beyond the traditional treat in an Easter basket. Like this insanely cute DIY peeps centerpiece. I put this together in less than 5 minutes and it’s going to be a showstopper of a table centerpiece for spring as well as Easter dinner.
To assemble:
- CHOOSE: Vessel, Peeps, Flowers.
- PLACE: a smaller glass inside of your vessel and fill with water. You wouldn’t want your peeps to get soggy would you? No. That would be anything but cute.
- ARRANGE: Peeps between the two vessels.
- INSERT: flowers into water.
Voila, a centerpiece that will garner compliments and start conversations for days to come.
