I’d like to thank Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Communications for hosting this trip so I could share my experience with you. Opinions are my own.
Have you been to the sweetest place on earth? If you haven’t been, what are you waiting for? Even though I have been multiple times, every time I visit, there are new and exciting things to do, see, TASTE and experience! No matter what time of year you’d like to visit because there are FOUR seasons of Hershey Park Happy!
A little HISTORY … Hersheypark® was originally created by Milton S. Hershey as leisure grounds for employees of Hershey’s Chocolate Factory? Talk about employee benefits. Now, their family theme park welcomes guests from around the world to experience Hersheypark all year long! 1 ticket includes 3 sweet experiences. That’s right, included with your ticket are all the rides, 15 coasters ranging from mild to WILD, a WATER PARK, and a ZOO.
PRO TIP: Download the Hershey Park APP to make the most of your visit. The Hersheypark app is packed with helpful tools to help plan your visit and maximize your day. Explore all of the app features before your visit and and check in regularly for special offers!
WHAT’S NEW FOR 2021?
CHOCOLATETOWN is the newest region of Hersheypark® . It includes the biggest coaster ever, Candymonium® . As well as new dining experiences: the full-service restaurant and bar, The Chocolatier (how cool is the ferris wheel appetizer above), Milton’s Ice Cream Parlor and The Sweeterie Confectionery Kitchen.
ZOO AMERICA
The year-round, 11-acre ZOO is home to more than 200 animals and is included with a one-price Hersheypark® ticket. (ZooAmerica® admission is included with a Hersheypark admission only by accessing the zoo through the Hersheypark bridge during public operating hours. View Hersheypark Hours )
BOARDWALK WATER PARK
Cool off after all that riding and walking by making a splash in the 11-acre water park on any of the 16 rides. YES, The Boardwalk is included with all summer admission tickets.
PRO TIP: There is so much to do in the park that you might want to consider purchasing a Fast Track online or inside Hersheypark at a Guest Services location upon arrival so you can skip the lines on select attractions.
CHOCOLATE WORLD
But wait that’s not all there is to do, no visit is complete without a stop at Hershey’s Chocolate World. It is located at the entrance of Hersheypark and serves as the official visitor’s center of The Hershey Company. Admission to Chocolate World is complimentary as is the ride attraction The Hershey’s Chocolate Tour Ride. You may also purchase tickets for the following inside:
- Hershey’s Unwrapped
- Create Your Own Candy Bar
- 4D Chocolate Movie
TIP: Book attraction tickets early so you can select a particular time slot – they fill up quickly.
WHERE TO STAY AT HERSHEYPARK?
There are 3 official resorts of Hersheypark to choose from: The Hotel Hershey, Hersheypark Camping Resort & Hershey Lodge. Each with their own unique offerings.
This visit I stayed at Hershey Lodge. Hershey Lodge provides convenience and comfort for families and guests of all ages. Each guest room at Hershey Lodge features warm comforts (like that super comfy robe), regionally-crafted furnishings, and chocolate-themed décor(can see the kisses on the wallpaper?) and artwork, to make for a uniquely Hershey experience. They offer several dining options right inside of the Lodge.
FIRE & GRAIN located inside of HERSHEY LODGE was absolutely DELICIOUS. From the appetizers, to the entrees to drinks and desserts. Top notch.
PLUS guests to each of these resorts enjoy the value, convenience, and special access of their FREE resort benefits. My favorite benefit, besides the chocolate at check in? Hello early park entrance and shuttle service to the park!
