Nutella Mascarpone Chocolate Tarts.
It’s been WAY too long since I’ve posted a Nutella recipe. I know did you just gasp? Don’t worry we’re still eating our fair share. Okay who am I kidding, we’re eating several families fair shares. I was craving something sweet and didn’t want to wait for a traditional cake to bake so we whipped up these almost no bake Nutella mascarpone tarts. Best part, you can be diving into this deliciousness in less than 30 minutes.
Nutella Mascarpone Chocolate Tarts.
I’m going to tell you that filling is lethal. Before I realized what I was doing I’d consumed about half of it, hence why it isn’t piled any higher on the tarts. Sigh. So save yourself and eat a sandwich or something before you start making this.
It might be one of the simplest Nutella desserts I’ve made. While your tart shells are baking in the oven you’ll whip up the filling. It’s truly that simple. This recipe is scaled down for 2 mini tarts but you could easily double or triple this and turn it into one medium or large tart.

Yum, I love this. Nutella is currently banned from the house since I eat it way to fast but I’m thinking its time to lift the ban.

Hi. I would like to ask if it’ll be okay if I use normal digestive biscuits instead of chocolate digestive biscuits. 🙂
Paula says
Hi Emily, we didn’t test it using regular but you could absolutely try it. Please let us know if you do.

There is waaaaay too much butter in this crust. Mine is currently dripping in the oven, even after I added 3x as many digestive cookies to compensate.
Flavor of the filling is ok, but not sweet enough for my taste– I added more nutella (was the whipped cream intended to be sweetened?). The texture is very luscious… that I liked. The rest seemed like a miss to me.
Note that I seem to be the only commenter who actually *made* the recipe before commenting.

Fahrenheit

I tweaked these a bit by making several smaller versions in a cupcake tin. I used Oreo cookie crumbs for the base and subbed coconut whipped cream for the regular. My hubby went crazy for these!
