Black Forest Fudge.
It’s just not Christmas without a variety of fudge on our holiday dessert table. Yes my Mom always has quite the impressive dessert table. She’s an overachiever too (I get it honestly). It includes a variety of cookies, cakes, rolls/logs (is that considered cake?) and candy. I’m pretty sure we all know why I have a sweet tooth. My Mom has made fudge for as long as I can remember.
Every different type of fudge but surprisingly not a Black Forest Fudge. I’m going to surprise her with some this year. Because you know we need another dessert on our dessert table.
Black Forest Fudge is everything you think it would be. It’s filled with the cherry, chocolate (hello it is fudge) and marshmallow. It’s rich, decadent and even though you know you should only have a square you’ll find yourself going back for seconds. Besides being aca-awesome it couldn’t be simpler to make.
You mix everything up and put it in the fridge to set up. Go ahead and make a few batches this weekend and spread a little holiday cheer.
Package the fudge in cute containers, tins or boxes (they’re everywhere at the moment) and surprise your neighbors (you do like your neighbors don’t you), the mailman, your in-laws, me. Anyone will do and they’re sure to say thank you.
Well unless they’re allergic to chocolate and then you get to keep it. Winning either way.
