Salted Caramel Chocolate Cupcakes

Salted Caramel Chocolate Cupcakes

I’ve never been able to resist a cupcake. Especially a chocolate cupcake. It’s just not going to happen. No matter how tight my pants are. Sigh. I’ll just spend a little more time on the treadmill. Reading my kindle and perhaps eating another chocolate cupcake while I’m there.

What, haven’t you ever eaten while on the treadmill? If not, don’t tell me. Apparently I’m not very good at this whole exercise thing. Back to something I am good at, cupcakes. Swoonworthy Salted Caramel Chocolate Cupcakes.

Salted CaramelThis is my Grandma’s cake recipe. I’ve been making it my entire life with several variations (red velvet, vanilla, you get the picture). I’ve honestly not found another recipe that I like better. Her secret? Buttermilk and cake flour. It makes the moistest (I don’t really dig that word but it’s fitting) cake. Hands down.

Well now that the cat is out of the bag (and really why do we say cat in the bag that really doesn’t make any sense now does it?) it’s really not a secret any longer. Lucky for y’all I’m such a giver. Good cake should be shared and often. Salted Caramel Chocolate Cupcakes
This cupcake can be a little messy, but it’s so worth the extra napkins. You can get our SALTED CARAMEL CHOCOLATE CUPCAKE recipe on Dixie Crystals website.
