Sweet and Spicy Party Meatballs

Sweet and Spicy Party Meatballs

Meatballs. You gotta love them. If not we can’t be friends. Okay well I might make an exception if you’re extraordinarily awesome but I’m just going to be honest and say it’s just weird if you don’t. For the sake of argument, let’s just say you do, even if you don’t m’kay? My favorite MEATBALLS on the planet are made using Johnsonville sausage.

I love the flavor that Italian sausage brings to the meatballs. I typically make them with the sweet Italian blend but when I want to shake things up I use the mild or even SPICY. Because sometimes we like a little heat. Especially when it’s cold as all get out.

Sweet and Spicy Party Meatballs
Johnsonville is making meatball making a little easier these days. You can find their brand spanking new pre-made meatballs in the freezer section of most of your favorite grocers. These products are fully cooked and ready to eat out of the package or be prepared to your liking! You can find a store locator and even a coupon by visiting their site.

Add three more ingredients to your shopping list and these little bites of bliss will be gracing your holiday party buffet or party platter in less than 25 minutes. Talk about quick and easy, making these Sweet and Spicy Party Meatballs perfect for holiday entertaining. In fact, I’m sure you’ve had a version of these meatballs or little smokies at some point in your party going years.

We make something similar to this with BBQ sauce and grape jelly. Thomas goes crazy for them! I can’t wait to make your version with the chili sauce!

Can’t live without them meatballs! They’re versatile, easy to prepare, and super yummy. I like mine in classic spaghetti (of course!), but on occasion, I make a batch and devour them in one sitting. And seeing this beautiful batch you made makes me crave them. Off to the kitchen!
