Chocolate Whiskey Pots de Creme. A decadent chocolate dessert that’s made in your blender.
For those of you who’ve been hanging around our little corner of the interwebs and especially for those of you who know me in real life KNOW without a shadow of a doubt I have zero to little willpower when it comes to dessert. It’s like kryptonite for me.
I’m weak. It’s a big reason I work out (and by big I mean it’s the only reason), so I can EAT all the deliciousness that is dessert, and okay carbs too, but we’re talking dessert today.
When it comes to cooking I’m more of a cook vs. a baker. Oh I can make desserts, I just PREFER the flexibility that comes with cooking. If something is off, you adjust it. I can eyeball things here and there. When you bake you CAN’T do that. Not if you want things to turn out. So much structure!
Doesn’t mean I neglect those desserts. Not a chance. I want them, I just want them to be quick and easy! It doesn’t get any easier than a dessert that you make in the BLENDER. Not just any blender. A gourmet WOLF blender.
We all know you can make a mean smoothie or a margarita in a blender but you can do SO much more. Especially with one as powerful and beautiful as the one made by Wolf, the brand synonymous with delicious results. Wolf counter top appliances and kitchen tools embody the precision control of their larger counterparts (you’ve all seen those iconic red knobs). Wolf Gourmet products bring professional performance and control to your kitchen, and guess what? They ensure a lifetime of moments worth savoring again and again.
“Spicy salsa. Tangy margaritas. Creamy nut butter. Homemade hollandaise sauce for your eggs benedict. It’s hard to imagine any counter top appliance that gives you more pleasure than the High Performance Wolf Gourmet blender. It crafts whatever you crave, offering complete control for complex recipes and pre-programmed settings for one-touch smoothies and hot soups.”
You won’t believe how easy this is to make this in a BLENDER. It starts out by warming milk and cream stove top. Then everything else (including whiskey, which I put into all the things as much as possible) is chucked into the blender and away it whirls. Sounds hard right? You got this and you’ll be getting an amazingly creamy dreamy dessert just a few hours later.
You’ve got about 10 minutes of working time (mostly done in the blender) and the rest is watching the clock while it sets up in the fridge. It doesn’t get much easier unless someone just brings you one.
I love the power behind this blender and the aesthetics (because let’s be honest things need to look good) doesn’t hurt the eyes not one bit. Not to mention the fact it fits under standard counter top with no problems.
You can find the Wolf Gourmet High performance blender at Sur La Table, Bloomingdales and Frontgate.
xo!
