We partnered with our friends at Megan Media and Tropicana for this #MixedWithTrop post. The opinions and ideas expressed here are my own.
I like to get together with mah girls. We all need time with our friends to catch up and blow off some steam. Sometimes it’s fun just to have a casual girls night in versus going out and struggling to have a decent conversation over the ruckus and mayhem at a restaurant or bar. Not to mention the expense. When I’m hosting a girl’s night IN it’s casual, no having to get gussied up. Shoes are optional and food and drinks are easy and effortless.
Y’all know that I happen to be a whiskey girl. But my friends aren’t that into whiskey. Dilemmas. So in keeping with my effortless theme, we go with margaritas and munchies. You can make individual margaritas or if your friends are anything like mine, you can go ahead and make a pitcher.
I’ve got a super shortcut (hello effortless) for these margaritas that I want to share with y’all. I used one of Tropicana’s Premium Lemonades and Drinks. That’s right. Tropicana Premium Drinks are great on their own, but are even tastier when used as a cocktail mixer! Tropicana Premium Drinks really are the perfect accompaniment to social gatherings and, get this, Tropicana Premium Drinks have ‘no artificial sweeteners’ and ‘no artificial flavors.’ [Insert the high five emoji here]. You can be the perfect at home mixologist too when you use their premium lemonades and drinks.
I used Tropicana’s Tangerine Lemonade for these margaritas. The Tangerine pairs perfectly with our addition of fresh rosemary and gives it a little extra oomph. We’ve also added wedges of fresh tangerine.
If you wanted to go even further, you could add a sugar or salt rim. These literally come together in minutes, leaving you plenty of time to sit back, relax and have fun. Easy, effortless but oh so delicious.
Cheers! (Please remember, as always, to drink responsibly)
