Devil’s Food Doughnuts.

I never expected I’d enjoy my doughnut pan so much. I thought maybe I’d buy it and use a few times and then find it a few years later in the back of my cabinet when I was pulling everything out to organize it because I finally got tired of chaotic state of my cabinets. Pans falling out onto the floor every time I go to get the ONE pan I’m looking for. I can’t be on the only one with a hot mess of kitchen cabinets?

If I am don’t tell me, how about just offer to come over and help me organize. We can bake doughnuts while we’re working on it. Sound like a plan?

Devil's Food Doughnuts

I can say with confidence that I’ve already got my $15 bux worth out of my newly purchased doughnut pan. I’m sure it will continue to earn it’s keep because I don’t see my sweet tooth going anywhere. Ever. My treadmill forever has a place in the house because of said sweet tooth (ok teeth, I’m not fooling anyone).

Devil's Food Doughnuts

I shared a recipe for baked CEREAL DOUGHNUTS last week and they were a huge hit. I’m betting the chocolate version of their counterpart is going to be equally gobbled up. Say hello to Devil’s Food Doughnuts.

This is a baked chocolate doughnut that’s then dipped in a two ingredient chocolate ganache. Yes I said two ingredient gorgeous ganache. You can also have these on your table, on a napkin, holding it over the sink while you eat it, in less than 30 minutes.

That’s faster than I can get into my car, drive into town and hit my local doughnut drive through. Winning.

Devil's Food Doughnuts

Ready to make your own? Grab your doughnut pan and grab the DEVIL’S FOOD DOUGHNUTS recipe over at our friends Dixie Crystal’s site.

Oh here’s a fun tip/trick/bonus: The doughnut pan makes a great tray for sprinkles when decorating baked goods. That pan is earning it’s keep.

xo!

Well, now I know what I am going to bake next in my doughnut pan! And speaking of pans, I read some article about organizing and did this one…it said to get file holders (like for the top of a desk) and place your baking pans in each slot (like files). I am not sure you will get the picture with that lame description, but hopefully you will! It helped A LOT!!
