Unscripted Durham – A boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Durham, North Carolina.
Thanks to Unscripted, I recently had the opportunity to attend a media dinner where a group of us were treated to a tasting of their new small plates menu on the Patio, an outdoor rooftop that features an eclectic New American Small Plates menu in a casual and lively environment. Think jumbo lump crab cakes, mister crunch (don’t sleep on this one), veggie burger sliders, shrimp cocktail shooters and so much MORE.
Unscripted Durham offers 74 boutique rooms and suites. Unscripted features all day, a full service grab and go coffee shop and restaurant, featuring Toby’s Estate Coffee, The Patio (the rooftop views at sunset are incredible), that offers a full service restaurant and bar. Plus The Studio, where you can grab the perfect craft cocktail and enjoy a variety of shareable plates. Something for everyone.
“Powered by progressive energy and sleek design, it’s the perfect place for mixing business with pleasure and connecting with culture. Things are always changing around here so be sure to check out our blog for the latest on all our special events, promotions, parties and more. We look forward to seeing you soon.”
Unscripted’s rooms blend timeless mid-century design with modern functionality. The sleek and streamlined designs are bold yet totally approachable. Filled with unexpected FUNKY details and hidden surprises, each room is full of character, just like the city of Durham.
Besides cocktails on the Patio (grab the Tiki) You can socialize in the Studio. There’s specialized cocktails for sipping, a lounge area for relaxing, and a range of darn delicious bites that will satisfy any appetite. Who’s ready to pop in?
Next time you’re nearby pop by to see everything Unscripted has to offer and consider staying the night.
Disclaimer: I was hosted for a tasting dinner and an overnight stay by Unscripted Durham. Opinions are my own.
