The SAVEUR 1st Annual Food Blog Awards were announced earlier this week and I’m BEYOND elated and just down right giddy to announce that bell’alimento is nominated for one of them. Yep, little ole bell’alimento has been nominated for a “Best Special Interest Blog” Award *insert wild screams of joy here*
Yes, I nearly fell off my chair when I saw it. Then yes, of course, more screams of joy followed by a little happy dance. I was completely floored. I could hardly believe it but I have the screen shot to prove it. That’s my Agnolotti alla Zucca picture right there first row in the middle!
It’s taken me this many days just to come down off the ceiling to even write this post. Does that tell you how excited I am? I mean to have been recognized for best of web on SAVEUR several times almost set me over the edge, but this, WOW, double WOW, no triple WOW! I’m ALMOST speechless.
It’s an amazing honor to be recognized for your work but to be recognized by one of the foremost food icons out there, well that’s just about too much for me to handle. So a ginormous THANK YOU SAVEUR for this recognition. I truly, sincerely appreciate it. I’m honored way beyond what my vocabulary can properly express. I feel like the luckiest food blogger on the planet right now.
Just WOW! Obviously there are some amazing nominees in each of the categories. Blogs that I adore, read, admire and just plain lurve. The winners will be determined by VOTES and voting is currently open and runs through April 2nd. The winners will be announced on April 5th.
