Pumpkin Butter

Pumpkin Butter
I was recently introduced to Pumpkin Butter at a local coffee house and I might have embarrassed myself just a little (okay a lot, I’m going to be honest) over licking the small container clean. It was GOOD. Really really good. Up until now I was all about the apple butter, I still love it, but it’s not a distant second. Bring on the pumpkin, princess, and biscuits.

Lots of biscuits. Besides just eating it with a spoon (which is totally acceptable by the way) I think the best way is on fresh, hot, homemade biscuits. I could be wrong, so I’ll continue to do the research for y’all. Because I’m a giver at heart. Truth. I love y’all.

Pumpkin Butter

The good news is pumpkin butter is insanely easy to make and comes together in a snap. If you can dump ingredients into a pot and stir, you’re golden. It’s literally that easy. You’ll just need to wait until the mixture thickens, let it cool and then place it into your desired containers. Easy peasy.

I’ve mentioned the spoon and biscuits, but there are so many other great ways to use them. I’m thinking about Pumpkin Cheesecake Bars. Sound good, yeah? O perhaps, layering it in between cake layers. Swoon.

Pumpkin Butter

So while the internet is pumpkin crazy why not jump on the band wagon. Get our PUMPKIN BUTTER RECIPE on Dixie Crystals Website where we moonlight once a month.

AND since it’s almost the gift giving season, we should mention that this would make a great gift, and probably score you some brownie points in the process. Who can’t use extra brownie points and biscuits. Don’t forget the biscuits. That would be a shame. A real shame.

xo!
