Easy Honey Dijon Salad Dressing is made with just 4 simple ingredients. Whisk together in bowl, or shake in a sealed canning jar for even more convenience.
Craving a salad but don’t have any dressing in your fridge? No problem. You can whisk or shake together your own homemade dressing in a matter of seconds with just 4 simple ingredients. Which you probably already have on hand. 6 ingredients for the sticklers that are counting salt and pepper. I’m of the belief that the majority of the cooking population has those 2 items in their kitchen.
I love mustards so I have a variety in my fridge at all times. Dijon, classic, spicy brown, whole grain, honey mustard. There’s even ground mustard in my pantry. Team mustard forever and ever amen. My condiment section is stacked.
Besides a balsamic vinaigrette I love a good honey mustard or Dijon dressing. When you make your dressings at home you know exactly what’s going in them. They’re incredibly fresh and you make what you need at the time.
How to Make Homemade Honey Dijon Salad Dressing?
Place all 4 ingredients into a bowl and whisk until they’re well combined. That’s all it takes. It doesn’t get much faster or fresher than that. If you don’t feel like whisking grab a small mason jar, add the ingredients, seal the top (you don’t want what’s akin to a blender accident) and shake until combined. It’s really that easy.
For spring and summer I eat this salad on repeat. Spring salad, topped with slices of pink lady or fuji apples, dried cherries, crushed walnuts and dressing with a drizzle of homemade honey Dijon salad dressing.
If you wanted to “beef” up this salad consider adding sliced roasted chicken breast and/or even sliced hard boiled egg.
