This post is sponsored by Dixie Crystals. Opinions are my own. Brioche Bread Pudding with Boozy Butter Sauce is a rich, decadent, and deceptively easy dessert to pull together. Served in individual ramekins it’s the perfect portion.
Bread pudding, or baked French toast as I like to call it, is all that and a bag of chips. This recipe is made with beautifully buttery Brioche bread that already melts in your mouth. If you can’t get your hands on Brioche, or if you just prefer, you could substitute Challah bread. Serving this in individual ramekins makes for the perfect portion. How much of the boozy butter sauce you drizzle on is up to you but it really does make this dish sing.

Bread pudding, also referred to as poor man’s pudding, was developed centuries ago as a way for frugal cooks to use up stale leftover bread instead of letting it be wasted. One can only make so many croutons or bread crumbs with stale bread.
