Besides being delicious it’s so beautiful making it a no-brainer choice to serve at PARTIES. Did I mention this comes together in no time at all. 4 ingredients and a few minutes are all it takes to pull this together. You could even slice the cantaloupe in advance, pop it into a container and store in the refrigerator until you’re ready to wrap them with prosciutto to save time. WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED TO MAKE PROSCIUTTO WRAPPED CANTALOUPE?
You’ll need the following 4 KEY ingredients to make this appetizer at home.
- RIPE cantaloupe
- prosciutto slices
- balsamic glaze
- fresh mint leaves
TIP: Choose a firm, but not too hard, tan cantaloupe with light green lines across it. Avoid choosing melons with brown or soft spots.
WHAT IS BALSAMIC GLAZE?
Balsamic glaze is made by combining balsamic vinegar with a sweetener such as honey, maple syrup, or brown sugar and cooked until it develops into a syrup like consistency. Perfect drizzled over ripe cantaloupe wrapped with prosciutto.

Prosciutto Wrapped Cantaloupe
Ripe cantaloupe sliced into wedges, wrapped with prosciutto and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
Ingredients
- ripe cantaloupe - rind and seeds removed, flesh sliced into wedges
- prosciutto
- fresh mint leaves
- balsamic glaze
Instructions
- Wrap desired amount of prosciutto around center of cantaloupe wedge. Continue until you have desired amount.
- Transfer wedges to serving tray/plate. Top each wedge with a fresh mint leave.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze on top of wedges.
