4 ingredient Spicy Caramel Sauce. It’s savory sweet and has a little heat! Drizzle it on all your favorite desserts.
I like sauces. It’s true. Savory, salty, sweet a little heat. Doesn’t matter to me just bring on the sauce. I also like simple and it doesn’t get much simpler than this 4 ingredient Spicy Caramel Sauce. It’s savory sweet and has a little heat. Covering almost all of my bases. It takes less than 15 minutes and I’m betting you’ll find all kinds to drizzle this deliciousness on.
My go to is ice cream. Preferably vanilla bean because it goes with everything that I feel like bringing to the ice cream party. It’s also great drizzled over cream puffs. I mean who doesn’t like cream puffs. Don’t tell me if you don’t. That would crush me.
This is the third recipe in the Tabasco 10 Ingredient Challenge week. Hope you’ve been enjoying the HEAT. As always you can add more or less Tabasco to suit your heat levels. Don’t be scared to add a little more here though. The sweetness from the desserts balances out the heat so it’s all good.
NOTE: This recipe makes 1 cup and needs to be used immediately before it begins to harden so make it right before you’re ready to use it. IF it happens to harden quicker than you’d like simply place it into the microwave and reheat in 15-30 second increments stirring in between until it’s back to original consistency. It will be HOT so use caution.
Wonder what you’ll drizzle this on first?

I absolutely LOVE sweet heat! My absolute favorite thing is vanilla heat coffee creamer (with a double dose of cayenne). I’d spoon this directly into my mouth while hiding in the corner to avoid embarrassment. 🙂
