Homemade Holiday Gift Ideas.
DIY GLITTER RIMMED MASON JARS – Made using old canning jars. Add an arrangement of flowers or even makeup (even paint) brushes for a complete gift.
I can assure you I’m not the craftiest person in the world, more stubborn than crafty but if I can make these gifts, so can you. We’ve got everything from decorative jars, to candles, to scrubs (both salt and sugar) to play dough for the kids to even a DIY mirror spruce up from that goodwill or garage sale find. You might even find you don’t want to give a few of these away and keep them for yourselves. They’re all budget friendly and like I said incredibly easy to make. A little time, a little glitter (because sparkle all the things) and you’ve got yourself a thoughtful gift to give for the holidays or just because you want to make someone smile, there should be more of that in life.
THOUGHTFUL GIFTS FOR THOSE ON YOUR LIST
I am a candle person, and we’ve got several to choose from. Whether you like, coffee, a more rustic looking log candle (you’ll need a power tool for this one but it’s still doable) or a serene floating candle, we’ve got you covered. These make great hostess gifts if you’re invited over for a dinner party.
DIY HOLIDAY FLOATING CANDLES – These are beautiful all lit up and smell fantastic with the fresh rosemary.
COFFEE BEAN CANDLES – Because I am a coffee-a-holic. If you want to make a larger gift, maybe add a bag of whole beans a moka (or pour over) pot, mugs and coffee spoons.
DIY RUSTIC LOG CANDLES – I scavenged logs from my backyard and only had to add tea lights so these are incredibly budget friendly. They look amazing on a mantle or down the middle of your table.
DIY COCONUT LIME SALT SCRUB – Homemade scrubs are amazing and couldn’t be easier to make. Google up a template and make a customized labels! Chalkboard labels are fun too!
DIY EXFOLIATING COFFEE SCRUB – These are made using leftover coffee grounds. We’re re-cycling all over the place!
DIY MIRROR MAKEOVER– A little spray paint, mod podge and glitter class things right up. Great for making over good will or garage sale finds.
DIY PLAY DOUGH – Have little ones on your list, these are perfect and made using Kool-Aid!
